On Saturday, a clip of Jason went viral on multiple social media platforms in which the former NHL player broke a student’s phone.
As per the video, that has been making all the noises, Jason can be seen roaming around when a fan (who seems to be a student) made a disrespectful comment about the popular couple.
The fan said, “Kelce how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”
In response to the comment, Jason Kelce got angry and smashed his (fan) phone on the ground. As expected, the video instantly went viral, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.

As the video went viral, Jason has now finally talked about the entire incident. He expressed remorse over the fiasco and admitted making a mistake. As per the popular personality, in a heated moment he chose to deal hate with hate, which is definitely not the right way to go about anything.
The former NHL star said, “In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing. I really don’t. I don’t think that it leads to discourse and is the right way to go about things.”
Continuing his train of thoughts, he further added, “I try to treat people with common decency and respect, and I’m gonna keep doing that moving forward, even though I fell short this week. I’m gonna do that moving forward and continue to do that.”
For the uninitiated, Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made their relationship public back in October 2023 by arriving hand-in-hand for the post-show in New York.
However, the one act that confirmed it all for the fans was during Swift’s Eras Tour, where she changed the lyrics of her songs for her boyfriend.
