Gautam Gambhir repeatedly referred to Sreesanth as a “fixer” during their heated on-field altercation during last night’s Legends League Cricket match, according to reports.

Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth’s feud has escalated after the former Indian pacer disclosed that he was referred to as a “fixer” by his former teammate during their altercation in the Legends League Cricket Eliminator on Wednesday. After the India Capitals innings’ sixth over, Sreesanth and Gambhir got into a heated argument that required umpire intervention. During an Instagram live session after the match, Sreesanth revealed that Gambhir had called him things that were “rude” and inappropriate for the general public. Sreesanth, however, disclosed the specifics of Gambhir’s comments a few hours later, which is expected to further agitate the situation.

Sreesanth revealed in an Instagram post how Gambhir would use the same word over and over again, defying the umpires’ repeated attempts to stop him.

Since the video’s release, contradictory reports have emerged, featuring the two former teammates from India who participated in the 2007 and 2011 World Cup finals together and were the part of the Playing XI. Although many have come forward to support Gambhir, Sreesanth is unwavering in his declaration that his version is the “sole truth” and is pleading with the public not to be persuaded by other viewpoints.
