“Sigh… Seth didn’t need this win”- WWE Universe in Shock as Seth Rollins Becomes Mr. Money in the Bank 2025

The 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match is now in the history books. The likes of Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, Solo Sikoa, and El Grande Americano were chasing the glory that eventually went The Visionary’s way. Rollins, already a five-time world champion in WWE, has won this year’s MITB contract, making him a two-time winner. He had previously done it in 2014.

Last night at the Intuit Dome, when things started going south for Rollins, he called out Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed to wreck the rest of the bodies in the match. They acted on cue and pretty much took out everyone. However, little did they know that Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo would come out next. The Bloodline members went right after Rollins’ henchmen, and a brawl was underway.

Fatu had cleared the ring for Sikoa to climb the ladder and retrieve the dangling briefcase. Just as the erstwhile Tribal Chief got a hold of it, Fatu grabbed his leg and yelled, ‘I hate you,’ before taking Sikoa out with a superkick. The betrayal had been in the cards for months, and WWE finally pulled the trigger on it at Money in the Bank.

During the closing moments, it came down to Knight and Rollins. The Architect slammed the back of The Megastar’s head into a ladder and followed it up with a Curb Stomp. By then, the entire field was down, and Rollins had all the time in the world to make the MITB briefcase his own, which he did.

Fans Had Quite Mixed Reactions to Seth Rollins’ Victory at Money in the Bank PLE

The online reactions to Seth Rollins emerging victorious at Money in the Bank are pretty lopsided, with the majority leaning against it. As is evident from the following fan posts on X, many were rooting for LA Knight to win. Last night was The Megastar’s third time competing in such a match, but he couldn’t get the job done.

Fans didn’t hold back from expressing their frustrations about Knight’s WWE booking. They argued that someone like Rollins, who has already been a top star for the company for a decade, didn’t necessarily need to win the contract. One fan also hailed Sikoa as the MVP of the ladder match due to his hilarious facial expressions and the eventual breakup with Jacob Fatu. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:

A fan noted that The Visionary deserved to win, especially to capitalize on the faction he’s been carrying. Rollins, however, couldn’t escape the wrath of the trolls, who dubbed him ‘Seth Hogan’—a term currently in vogue, especially among online wrestling fans.
