During the Royal Rumble PLE, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were eliminated together. While both men had the possibility of winning the whole thing, they were very focused on destroying each other. CM Punk took this opportunity to eliminate both men by pushing them over the top rope together. Punk was also eliminated by Logan Paul within seconds after that. This led to the three men getting into an argument outside.
During the argument, it broke down into a brawl. Rollins curb-stomped the Tribal Chief during the brawl, and now it has been sold by WWE as an injury. Roman Reigns is now set to miss the Elimination Chamber match next month. While many fans would want Roman Reigns in the Chamber, him not being there is only for his own good.
It has now been revealed that WWE has not put him in the Chamber to protect his credibility. Reigns is apparently not supposed to be the winner of the match. Him entering the match and not picking up the victory means that he will have to get pinned. WWE wants to protect one of their top superstars, and hence he will not be there. This is also a very good way for the company to add intensity to the Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins rivalry.
The two men are rumored to face each other at WrestleMania 41. This will not only be the perfect way to build up the story but will also make sense if Roman attacks Rollins suddenly during the Chamber match. The two men have a lot of history between them, and this match at WrestleMania was long overdue.
Seth Rollins reveals how he really feels about Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been rivals for years together now. Despite making their arrival together in the company, the storylines have made them bitter rivals in the ring. There have been multiple occasions when the two men have reunited but have also turned on each other multiple times.
While the two men seem to be hating each other inside the ring, there seems to be a completely different chemistry outside the ring. Seth Rollins recently made an appearance on Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show. He mentioned over there what he really feels for Reigns outside the ring.
I love Roman Reigns. Let’s get that clear: I love him. We came into the industry together. So this is what you’re talking about stories: Roman and I broke into WWE together back in 2012.
There have also been video clips of the two men traveling together. Rollins has also mentioned in previous interviews that Reigns is one of those men who he can trust even outside the ring. The two men share a very close bond off-screen as friends. While it is unlikely that the two men will ever reunite again on-screen, it cannot be ruled out forever in WWE.
