Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have become two of the most hated characters on the WWE roster. At one point in time, everyone admired them, but things have changed now. During the December 23, 2024, episode of Raw, Woods and Kingston came to address the WWE universe.
During the promo, Woods took shots at Wade Barrett, who was on commentary. He said that Wade and Big E were not man enough to get back in the ring. It seems like later Kingston crossed the line as he mentioned that day could have done much worse to E. He even mentioned that they would have sent him on a stretcher.
Later Kofi mentioned how his mother was present in the audience on Raw. He mentioned that she flew all the way just to see him, and it was like a homecoming for him. The members of the WWE Universe were constantly booing Kingston. This made Kingston say that the fans were ruining her experience of seeing her son. After that Kingston went to his mother to apologize for the fan’s behavior.
Once he went to his mother, he opened his arms asking for a hug. His mother got up and left. She walked away through the crowd while he kept calling out to her. It seems that the actions that Woods and Kingston have done to Big E have hurt everybody around the world. It is very clear that Kingston’s mother is not proud of what her son has done.
Fans react to Kofi Kingston’s mother walking out on Raw
Earlier it was very clear, that the fans were disappointed in Kingston and Woods. When his mother was there at ringside, at first it seemed like she would take his side. However, it seems that she is also very unhappy with the way her son has treated his friend. To make it worse, Kofi Kingston was constantly blaming the fans for ruining her experience.
The WWE Universe was quick to take her side on social media. They went ahead and even added that African mothers are very well disciplined, and they do not tolerate such behavior.
The fans have credited Kofi’s mother for her brilliant acting. There have been multiple jokes that Kofi Kingston will not be having a Merry Christmas at home either. It will be very interesting to see how Kingston will react after the holidays on social media.
