Ever since returning to WWE last year, CM Punk has been enjoying himself in the company. At one point in time, his return to the company was the most unlikely. However, his run back in the company keeps becoming more entertaining. During the WWE’s Holiday Tour at Madison Square Garden, Punk appeared in an outfit that shocked everybody, and everyone had a good laugh.
During the event, Punk came out in a shower cap and a towel. Priest, who was being attacked by Dominik Mysterio and Ludwig Kaiser, was rescued by Punk. He was seen running down the ring holding his towel and then delivering punches.
This funny incident by Punk has got wrestling fans all around the globe laughing. It seems like he was having a lot of fun during the whole event. He even did John Cena’s signature comeback moves during his match against Ludwig Kaiser. This has definitely changed WWE’s image in the eyes of wrestlers around the globe.
WWE is known to be a very disciplined company when it comes to wrestlers’ appearances. However, since Triple H has taken over, wrestlers have been given more creative freedom regarding what they want to wear and how they want to represent themselves. This seems to be the correct move now, as Punk’s comedic gestures stole the whole show. Punk, along with his experience in the ring, has quickly cemented himself as a locker room leader. It will be interesting to see what more entertaining role he plays in the future.
Fans react to CM Punk wrestling in a towel
CM Punk coming out in a towel and shower cap did not only entertain the fans present at the MSG. It entertained everybody all around the globe. Videos and photos of him from the event have quickly circulated all over the internet. Most fans have taken this as a very good laugh.
Everybody seems to be crediting the person who has come up with this idea. They have also praised Punk for being a good sport and agreeing to do this. A large part of the fans like to believe that he was actually in the shower during this segment. All these things are just small beliefs from the fan, and they are not actually true. This comical incident will definitely make Punk more of a fan favorite than he already is.
A large amount of the WWE Universe has now started requesting the company to air house shows on platforms like YouTube. There are a lot of funny incidents that take place during such events. CM Punk will definitely be talked about thanks to the incident for a long period of time. His main focus now will be his match with Seth Rollins on January 6, 2024.
