Internet sensation Imane Pokimane recently revealed suffering from an “overwhelming” health scare. In a recently uploaded YouTube video, Pokimane revealed being “overwhelmed” with a tumor on her chest that has now regrown despite being removed in the past.
As per the popular personality, the health concern came to light after she went to the MRI for different parts of her body, She submitted her reports to the gynecologists, who expressed concern over the regrown tumor. That’s not all; the streaming sensation even revealed holding up stress and tension as she was overwhelmed by the ordeal.
However, fortunately, the tumor came out to be benign, meaning it was noncancerous, giving her a breath of fresh air.
She said, “I was holding in so much stress and tension and concern all of these weeks. It was just building up beneath me. The reality of it is, what I experienced wasn’t just a health scare. It’s actually kind of a routine part of taking care of yourself and screening for things as early as possible.“
The Canadian Moroccan streamer then went on to talk about taking good care of yourself and regular screenings and health checkups of the entire body to avoid any bad news.
Although she was initially not sure how to talk about such a sensitive update on her life, the streamer then decided to be transparent about her health to viewers and fans so that the video could work more like an encouragement for other people to need regular checkups done.
Continuing further, she added, “I hope this can serve as encouragement for anyone. Please get tested when or if you need to. Please stay on top of your health. …no matter who you are, please take good care of your health.”
Notably, this isn’t’ the first time the 28-year-old has opened up about facing health concerns be it physical or mental. Pokimane has always been very public with her mental health struggles, continuously motivating her viewers to take mental wellness on priority.
Back in May 2023, the streamer revealed she suffers from tinnitus, a ringing in the ears that her doctors initially speculated was an ear infection. At the time of writing, Pokimane has not posted any other update regarding her tumor.
