Youtuber IShowSpeed is known for his over-the-top reaction videos and 24-hour insane challenges. However, not all these challenges end well for the popular personality. And that’s precisely what happened during his 24-hour 660 backflip challenge, where his body was temporarily paralyzed.
After 4 days, Seed returned to his livestream and made a big revelation regarding his health, where the YouTuber revealed how he was unable to move his legs after attempting 650 backflips in a single day.
On October 12, 2024, Speed went live on his YouTube channel, explaining why he was forced to stop the stream. As per the 20-year-old, he went straight to sleep after attempting the world record but couldn’t move his legs the next day when he woke up.
That’s not all; the streamer even talked about how he was not able to bend or even move his legs to the slightest and wasn’t able to go live the next day to update his viewers.
Although the fans didn’t really believe the entire story, Speed explained the situation in detail. He said, “After I knew it was over and that I couldn’t walk, after I ended the stream, I went to sleep. I thought I had to go to the hospital, like I genuinely could not move.“
During the stream, he even took multiple breaks in-between to keep up the energy level and strength. That’s not all; the stream also had a dedicated massage therapist sent by Jake Paul to help Seed break the ultimate world record.
Continuing further, he added, “I couldn’t bend my legs, and I’m not even capping chat; that’s the real reason I haven’t been streaming these past few days.” Okay, y’all do 650 backflips and tell me how you feel the next day.”
Despite failing and being exhausted, Seed kept going and achieved 660 backflip before giving up due to leg pain. The official world record of 1001 backflips in 24 hours has been set by Nico Scheicher from Austria in 2019. No one has been able to break that record since.
With that being said, this is not the first time a streamer has tried their hands at breaking a world record live in front of thousands of viewers.
