Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to chase the target. Their chasing record hasn’t been good this season, losing 8 out of 10 matches in which they chased. However, Ashwin came back, showed his experience, and got captain Samson’s wicket. He scored 41 runs off 31 balls, with 3 fours and 2 sixes. The veteran also dismissed Suryavanshi, taking two wickets in one over. The 14-year-old wonderkid scored 57 runs with a strike rate of 172. With two new batters in, RR still needed 50 runs from the last 6 overs. Finally, both Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer finished the chase in the 19th over, and RR bowed out of the tournament.
