There are a lot of things going on around in the wrestling world currently. This includes title changes, dream matches, and even surprise returns. Dakota Kai returned on the latest episode of Raw, and another surprise return is spoiled for the next episode.
As soon as the November 11 episode of Raw was taped, WWE also taped the November 18 episode. During this tapping, multiple matches for the next week were spoiled. This included Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Breed and more. However, there was also a big surprise return, which no one saw coming.
Rhea Ripley, who was taken out during the October 29 episode of NXT, made her return on Raw taping. After being attacked with a baseball bat by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at NXT, she was declared injured with no update on her return.
On next week’s show taping, Rhea Ripley interrupted a multi-woman segment and went straight for Liv Morgan. She did not bother about anyone else in the ring. The Women’s World Champion and Ripley have a lot to settle between both of them. One intriguing thing about her return after the beatdown at NXT was that she was wearing a face mask.
It seems that The Nightmare has come out for full revenge. She not only wants her World Championship back but also wants to cause a lot of pain to Morgan. The fans were very happy to see her because she was expected to be out for a long period of time. The rivalry between both women has been heating up for a while now. It is only a matter of time before both of them go head to head.
Rhea Ripley plans on not having kids anytime soon
2024 has been a huge year on-screen and off-screen for Rhea Ripley. Despite dealing with a shoulder injury this year, she was also the main event at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. This event took place in her homeland, Australia. She also went on to defeat Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.
Meanwhile, off-screen, she tied the knot with Australian wrestler Buddy Matthews. Her husband is currently part of the AEW roster. The couple got married to each other in June while she was out due to a shoulder injury. Since she is married now, the question of kids definitely comes up. During a recent interview with Jazzys World, she said that she might wait several more years before starting a family.
She explained how she doesn’t want to bring her child everywhere with her hectic WWE schedule. Ripley is currently in her prime and she wants to focus on pro wrestling so she has decided to hold off the idea of having kids for five to ten years.
Most wrestlers take a lot of time away from the company when they become mothers. Former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is a clear example of this. However, wrestling fans are excited with this news as she has seemingly confirmed she will be around full-time for at least some more years to come.
