The New Bloodline and the Original Bloodline had been in a rivalry for a long period. All this mainly started due to Solo Sikoa wanting to be acknowledged as the Tribal Chief during Roman Reigns’ absence. This caused him to go out and form his own Bloodline. They even attacked Roman Reigns on multiple occasions when Reigns returned.
The two Tribal Chiefs went head to head on Raw’s debut episode on Netflix. The match between Solo and Roman took place to decide who was the real Tribal Chief of the Bloodline. The match, despite having a lot of commotion and interference, was very entertaining. The involvement of the Bloodline members from both sides made it more interesting. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes also came to help out each side of the Bloodline.
The match ended with Roman Reigns delivering back-to-back Spears to Solo Sikoa. With this victory, not only has he reclaimed his Ula Fala but has also proven that he is the real Tribal Chief. Following the match, The Rock came out to the ring and took the Ula Fala from Heyman to present it to Reigns. After that moment, they shook hands, and Reigns raised his finger in the air.
The Rock’s involvement in this whole segment has proven to be very important. Many expected the Final Boss to turn on Roman eventually and help out Solo. However, it has been the complete opposite. This has disappointed some fans who were hoping to see these two men go face-to-face at WrestleMania 41.
WWE Universe slams The Rock for being boring
The Rock’s appearance on the special episode of Monday Night Raw this week was expected. However, they had a different type of expectation from him during the buildup. Many fans want to see Roman Reigns and the Rock go head-to-head. However, it seems like WWE has not planned it at the moment.
Many members of the WWE Universe expected him to interfere during the Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns match. There was no involvement from him during the match. He was even criticized for being boring during his opening promo. Everybody expected him to be a very dangerous, heelish character. However, according to the fans, it has been the total opposite for them on Raw.
Wrestling fans have made it very clear that they are not happy with The Rock playing a very corporate role. They want to see him as the wrestler that he was in the past eras. Ever since being one of the higher authorities of WWE, his television role has become boring. The fans loved it when he entered as the Final Boss during the Rhodes and Roman rivalry last year. It will be interesting to see if there is going to be any future plot twist regarding him.
