The mystery of El Grande Americano keeps getting more confusing. Fans saw not one but two versions of him on Raw, each with a very different appearance. Surprisingly, the WWE Universe still hasn’t figured out who the second El Grande Americano might be.
It all transpired during a tag team match between Judgment Day and LWO on the latest episode of Raw. In the final moments of the match, the first El Grande Americano appeared. Many fans rightfully assumed he was Ludwig Kaiser, who tried to distract the LWO members until Dragon Lee ran down and started a brawl.
However, the shocking part was that another El Grande Americano appeared, wearing a mask and a jacket. He attacked Cruz Del Toro and helped Judgment Day retain their titles. The big question was, who was it? Many fans believed it was Pete Dunne, judging by his appearance.
The “original” El Grande Americano, Chad Gable, is currently out with an injury. Kaiser took his place, and it’s safe to say he is enjoying the role to the fullest. Recently, he delivered a promo in Spanish and then sang a Spanish song for the crowd in Mexico. It will be intriguing to see what happens when Gable returns from his injury.

The WWE Universe couldn’t figure out what had just transpired after seeing two El Grande Americanos. Even the commentators, Michael Cole and Corey Graves, couldn’t recognize the second masked wrestler. While some fans tried to guess who he might be, others grew bored of the storyline.
One fan admitted it was impossible to figure out who he was. Another fan felt confident that it was indeed Dunne. Some fans joked that it could be Omos, which was clearly impossible given the size difference. Others suggested that a returning Ilja Dragunov might be under the mask.
