WATCH: ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin almost crashes his ATV into a fan at ringside at WrestleMania 41

Wrestling icon Stone Cold Steve Austin showed up at WrestleMania 41 on April 20. During his appearance, he struggled to control a bulky ATV.  The 60-year-old entered Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on the four-wheeler. Fans cheered loudly, chanting his name as he arrived.

Austin, who retired from wrestling in 2003, was supposed to ride the ATV up a ramp to the stage. Cameras captured his entrance, but things didn’t go smoothly. The ATV caused problems during his second lap around the ring. It crashed into a security barrier, knocking over a woman in the front row.

Austin tried to reverse the ATV but failed. He eventually got off and raised his hand, likely to apologize. It’s unknown if the woman was hurt. Commentators noted the barrier was strong enough to handle the impact.

Maybe Stone Cold had one too many beers before hopping on that ATV—or maybe he just got nervous before his big return. Either way, he clearly had some trouble handling the four-wheeler during his WrestleMania entrance.

After the clip of his crash went viral, some fans joked that the woman who fell might have taken a dive for a potential payout. Luckily, she seemed fine, only tumbling into her seat rather than hitting the floor hard. Hopefully, she walked away without any serious bumps or bruises.

WWE cameras did not capture another ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s ATV crash

Fans were thrilled to hear the iconic glass-shattering intro of his WWE theme song. However, some of that sound might have been real glass, as Austin struggled to control his vehicle.

Austin ended up crashing his four-wheeler twice during his WrestleMania 41 appearance. The first crash wasn’t caught on camera for most viewers. Only fans seated near the side stage witnessed the mishap.

Before his big entrance, Austin accidentally missed the wide ramp he was supposed to take. Instead, he bumped into a black wall beside it. After this mistake, he quickly reversed the four-wheeler to try again.

This time, Austin chose the correct path and made it to the top of the stage. Despite the earlier blunder, he still had his grand entrance moment in front of the crowd.
