Ten years have passed since the creation of one of the greatest factions in WWE history, The New Day. The faction consisted of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E and was one of the best tag teams in WWE’s modern era. They achieved a lot of things together at one point in time and even were the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions for a while.
However, in mid-2022 the faction was broken up. Woods and Kingston were drafted to Raw; meanwhile, E was sent to SmackDown. During his time on the blue brand, E suffered an injury that ended his career. Ever since then, Woods and Kingston have been floating around in the tag team division. The three men came together on Monday Night Raw to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the faction. However, the celebration only took a turn for the worse.
During the celebration, when Big E came out to the ring, at first everything seemed okay. It was only later that Kofi Kingston started to mention the WWE legends who came back after career-ending surgeries. He said that Big E did not care about him and Woods.
Kingston and Woods further continued humiliating their former tag team partner. They added that he had forgotten about them and all he cared about was himself. The former WWE Champion was also taunted by them and told him to return to his desk. This was a direct insult at Big E’s desk job, as he has not wrestled since that injury.

The New Day seems to be getting a new start at this point in time. This time there will be two differences. Instead of three members in the group, there will be two of them.
