John Cena creates new Guinness World Record with his shocking heel turn at the Elimination Chamber

John Cena surprised the wrestling world by attacking Cody Rhodes and aligning with The Rock. The Final Boss received a firm “no” from the WWE Champion after the Elimination Chamber PLE, as Cody refused to join him. With his shocking heel turn, the 16-time world champion set a unique record in WWE.

An account named WrestleOps shared a post on X, informing the WWE Universe about the unique record John Cena set. He holds the record for being a babyface for the longest time before finally embracing his dark side once again. Cena remained the face of the company for 22 years, from 2003 until the Elimination Chamber.

On the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, The Final Boss invited Cody Rhodes for a special chat, expressing his desire to make Rhodes his champion. The Rock gave the WWE Champion until Elimination Chamber to consider the offer and even tried to win him over with a custom-made truck. However, The American Nightmare rejected the proposal, which didn’t end well for him. Cena, along with popular star Travis Scott, brutally attacked him right after he won the Elimination Chamber match.

His heel turn surprised fans who had always seen him as a good guy. Being a hero came naturally to him, as he fulfilled countless wishes for children facing hardships. Now that he has embraced his dark side and aligned with The Rock, the road to WrestleMania just got even more exciting. It will be intriguing to see what Cena has to say to the millions of fans who have always adored him and viewed him as their hero.

Ric Flair said John Cena will have to go through him to win his record 17th World Title

John Cena’s shocking betrayal didn’t sit well with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. The Nature Boy and Cena both sit atop the mountain when it comes to World Championship wins, with each holding 16 titles. As Cena sets his sights on a record-breaking 17th world title, Flair sent him a message on social media.

The Dirtiest Player in the Game took to X and shared an eight-year-old clip where he was seen congratulating John Cena on winning his 16th world title. Although he praised the Hollywood star in that interview, it’s safe to say The Nature Boy doesn’t feel the same way about him anymore.

Flair stated that he would not let Cena break his record by winning the 17th world title. He further added that The Doctor of Thuganomics would have to go through him first. Even at 76, The Nature Boy claimed he still had plenty of fight left in him. It will be intriguing to see whether he plays a significant role in Cena’s final WWE run.
