WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event saw two of the biggest men in the company go head to head. It was Braun Strowman who went one-on-one with Jacob Fatu. This match was one of the most awaited matches on the match card. The two men are a mix of power and technique in the ring.
The match also did not disappoint the fans. Despite the two men being fairly matched in the ring, there was no proper winner for the match. Fatu was disqualified since he ended up pushing the referee. This gave Braun the official victory. However, things only got worse for Strowman after the match.
Despite the match being over, Fatu ended up attacking Braun. The attack was so vicious that he ended up busting him open. There were multiple attempts from local security as well to try and stop him from doing more damage. However, most of them failed to do so, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had to step in to try and stop The Samoan Werewolf.
Fatu completely destroyed Braun with a series of top rope moonsaults. This also gave the fans a lot of entertainment as they were chanting his name despite him being the bad guy. Jacob Fatu seems to be on his way to becoming one of the top heels of the company.
Braun Strowman puts out a message for Jacob Fatu following the beatdown
The beatdown that Strowman faced at the hands of Jacob Fatu was horrible. There was blood coming out of his head, and it seemed like he was hurt very badly. The Monster amongst Men has been one of the most dominant superstars in the industry. Seeing him getting dominated in this fashion has been a surprise for everyone.
However, now it seems like he is planning his revenge on Fatu. Following his outing in San Antonio, Texas, he put out a message for the man who tried to end his career. Braun has been known to strongly bounce back when an opponent tries to end him.
It seems like this is the beginning of a major rivalry. Strowman has been known to not back down easily. His rivalry with Roman Reigns in 2017-18 signified that he would come after anyone who tried to hurt him. Strowman will be looking to get his hands on Fatu the first chance he gets on Friday. With the Royal Rumble match coming up, it will be interesting to see if the two men will cross paths again.
