CM Punk creates a new record after his latest match on raw

CM Punk has already established himself as a legend in the wrestling business. Since his return, he has been involved in the main event title picture. The ‘Best in the World’ has broken many records during his tenure in the Stamford-based company. He recently set a new record after wrestling his match on Raw last month.

WrestleFeatures shared a post on X stating that CM Punk had just completed 1,200 matches in WWE. His 1,200th match in the company was against Sami Zayn in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on the February 3rd episode of Monday Night Raw. The Second City Saint won that match and qualified for the Elimination Chamber, where he eventually finished as the runner-up.

Since his return at Survivor Series: WarGames two years ago, he has been involved in heated rivalries with stars like Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. After emerging victorious in those feuds, he set his sights on the world title. It’s fair to say that the former world champion came very close to earning a title opportunity.

Rollins had other plans, however, as he attacked The Voice of the Voiceless during the Elimination Chamber match. This allowed John Cena to capitalize by putting Punk to sleep with an STF. It looks like this long-time rivalry between Punk and Rollins will eventually culminate in a match at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre takes a dig at CM Punk by showing support for The Rock

Drew McIntyre never misses an opportunity to take a dig at his arch-rival, CM Punk. Once again, he took a shot at The Second City Saint by backing a statement The Rock once made about him. One thing is certain: Punk won’t take this insult lightly.

The Scottish Warrior took to X and responded to one of The Rock’s most controversial posts, which he made 14 years ago. After it was confirmed that The Great One and John Cena would face each other in the main event of WrestleMania, The Rock posted that he could make WWE more money in one night than Punk could in his entire career.

“14 years on and still relevant. Cry more you bitch Punk. I’ll see you down the line.”

McIntyre pointed out how accurate The Brahma Bull’s post remains even after all these years. He trolled Punk by telling him to cry more and expressed his frustrations with him. Despite their intense rivalry, the former WWE Champion didn’t rule out the possibility of crossing paths with him again in the future. However, for The Scottish Warrior, a showdown with Damian Priest at WrestleMania seems likely.
