CM Punk is one of the most vocal wrestlers in WWE. When he is on the microphone, everybody goes quiet and listens to him. With the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event coming up soon, Punk has been cutting promos regularly to send out bold statements to his opponents. He did the same during the recent episode of Monday Night Raw.
There were mentions of the fact that he can see himself throwing John Cena over the top rope. He even took a dig at Roman Reigns, mentioning that he needed his help to deal with The New Bloodline. However, Punk also ended up attacking WWE legend Hulk Hogan. He mentioned that if Hogan appeared in the rumble, he would throw his dusty a** over the top rope.
While fans expected Punk to face serious consequences for this, it seems like the total opposite. According to reports, there has been no backlash against him for his words on the microphone. It has further been added that people backstage had a good laugh about it. It seems like WWE does not care much about either the segment or Hulk Hogan. The whole line being unscripted also adds to the fact that even CM Punk does not like Hogan.
Hogan has been widely hated in the wrestling community. His actions on multiple occasions with other wrestlers have made him very unlikeable. Hogan was known to be a very selfish person during his wrestling days and would very regularly influence decisions in his favor backstage. It now seems like his downfall is being enjoyed by everyone. He was also booed out of the building during his appearance on Raw‘s debut episode on Netflix.
Fans react to CM Punk not having any consequences regarding his comments on Hulk Hogan
The WWE Universe has been enjoying CM Punk’s return to WWE. They have been cheering him on in every step of his new journey in the company. When he took a dig at Hulk Hogan on the microphone, they even gave him a very loud positive reaction.
However, some members of the WWE Universe were worried that he might have had to face consequences for that. When it was revealed that he did not have to face any consequences and even people backstage had a laugh about it, they all said that Hulk Hogan deserved this.
CM Punk will go down in history as one of the best superstars on the microphone. He has been remembered for multiple promos that he has cut. One of the most noticeable ones is the Pipebomb promo back in 2011. It is one of the main reasons why he is known as the Voice of the Voiceless today.
