The final SmackDown before the debut of Raw on Netflix featured the New Bloodline members going head-to-head with Sami Zayn and The Usos. Solo Sikoa and his men ended up picking up the win. It was a strong message to Roman Reigns before Solo faced the former WWE Champion on January 6, 2025.
However, after the match was done and SmackDown went off the air, it seemed like Solo and his men were not satisfied with just a victory. The Tribal Chief of the New Bloodline wanted to send a message to his opponent by beating down his family. During this period, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came to the rescue of Roman Reigns’ men. John Cena announced his farewell tour during Money in the Bank 2024 and is set to start it on Raw next week. He has also been announced for the Royal Rumble PLE. He is expected to be a part of the rumble match one last time. A possible Rumble win for him and Rhodes defending his title, could see the two men go head to head. As per reports, this match will be taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
A match between these two men would definitely be one of the most remembered matches. Cena has carried the company on his back for over 10 years but will be retiring soon.
