WWE stars Kelani Jordan and Carmelo Hayes are officially engaged. The couple shared the news on July 5, 2025, through Jordan’s Instagram post. It revealed that Hayes proposed on July 1 during a romantic getaway to Maui, Hawaii. Alongside beautiful photos from the beachside proposal, the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion wrote, “I said yesss! And I’d say yes in every lifetime.” The announcement quickly went viral in the WWE community, capturing fans’ hearts and making headlines across wrestling media.
The engagement drew a flood of congratulatory messages from fellow WWE superstars. Rhea Ripley, a close friend of the couple, expressed her joy on social media. Other stars, including Bayley, Tiffany Stratton, Maxxine Dupri, Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, and Nia Jax, also sent warm wishes. Jordan revealed in an interview with Denise Calcedo that they met backstage and felt an instant connection.
Professionally, both are making waves: Jordan is a former NXT Women’s N.A. Champion, while Hayes is now a featured performer on SmackDown, coming off a major win in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April. Unfortunately, he failed to qualify in the later stages of this year’s King of the Ring tournament.
