Dominik Mysterio stated on the Intoxicados podcast last month that he intended to pay a visit to Eddie Guerrero‘s grave during WWE’s time in Phoenix for the Monday Night Raw taping. Dirty Dom shared a photo from Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale a few hours ago, where he presented Guerrero’s grave with his Intercontinental Championship.
In the past, Dom’s father, Rey Mysterio, was very connected to Latino Heat. So much so that Guerrero would be referred to as “Uncle Eddie” on Judgment Day. Interestingly, Dirty Dom’s on-screen persona, which he has been portraying for some time, bears a striking resemblance to Guerrero’s. Since winning the IC title at WrestleMania this year, the 28-year-old has expressed a desire to visit the late WWE legend’s grave.
He defeated then-champion Bron Breakker, Penta, and his stablemate Finn Balor in a frantic Fatal 4-Way match at the event that bears the same name. Since then, Mysterio has been doing well. He is doing everything in his power to maintain the title belt. Dirty Dom seems to have regained his mojo after avoiding Penta’s wrath during their post-Mania feud.
In an impromptu bout at Money in the Bank this past weekend, the San Diego native defeated Octagon Jr. of AAA to retain the IC belt. Mysterio may face multiple-time world champion AJ Styles in his next big matchup. Rhea Ripley‘s on-screen ex has already received a warning from The Phenomenal One that he is his next target.
Dominik Mysterio Wishes Liv Morgan on Her 31st Birthday
Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio’s on-screen girlfriend, celebrated her 31st birthday on Sunday, and Dom had plenty of reasons to smile. Taking to X, the modern-day Latino Heat penned a heartfelt birthday message for his Güerita. In his post, he praised Morgan as the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. He even mentioned her impressive list of WWE accomplishments.
The pair recently shared a headline-grabbing kiss while attending Netflix’s TUDUM event, but behind the scenes on Judgment Day, things aren’t exactly picture-perfect. The arrival of Roxanne Perez has rattled Morgan, especially with The Prodigy setting her sights on Mysterio. Tensions rose even higher when Perez was spotted giving Daddy Dom a subtle massage—the same night Morgan returned to Raw after a three-week break.
Last Monday, after witnessing everything unfold in the Judgment Day clubhouse, Morgan decided to confront Balor. She voiced her disapproval of the way he brought Perez into the group. The New Jersey native also hinted that she no longer trusts The Irish Captor because of his recent behavior. Rumors have been swirling for months that the 43-year-old might be nearing the end of his three-year run with the faction.
