Seth Rollins and CM Punk have been eyeing each other ever since the latter’s return at Survivor Series 2023. Ever since CM Punk ended his rivalry with Drew McIntyre, he has been having back-and-forth issues with “The Visionary.” At one point in time, this confrontation would seem like a dream. However, his return has made this dream match come true.
Punk recently appeared at the Raw on Netflix Kickoff event. During this event, he answered a few questions and explained why he was having a problem with Rollins. It seems like both these men have some very common opinions about each other. According to Punk, at the end of the day, it is about who has more ego.
This is just what happens when you get two guys in the business that—in a way—have no peers..The locker room is only so big; it can only fit so many egos.

According to Punk, both men feel that they are better than each other. In the end, the reason behind the whole feud is to try to prove a point. They both want to prove that one is better than the other. The two men even last year would have indirect confrontations. One clear example was when Punk was rumored to be the guest referee for Drew and Seth’s world title match.
Apart from the whole rivalry angle, Punk seemed very excited during the event. He mentioned that he is looking forward to his match on January 6. It was also mentioned by him that pro wrestling has evolved largely over the years. The Best in the World also has a connection with Paul Heyman, who still owes a favor to Punk. It will be interesting to see what favor is requested going ahead.
CM Punk set to wrestle at Madison Square Garden
It has been a while since CM Punk has made his in-ring return since injury. It has now been confirmed that he will be wrestling. There is going to be a special event called MSG Holiday Show. The event is set to take place on December 26. There is going to be a line of matches during the event. Punk will be facing Ludwig Kaiser in a one-on-one match.
It was even announced on the X account of the stadium. The venue is one of the most historic places in WWE history. There is going to be an expected crowd of over 20,000 people during the event. It will be very fascinating to see Punk make his return to the ring at such a big event.
His opponent for Raw on Netflix, Seth Rollins, will also be in action that night. He will be facing Dominik Mysterio in singles action. Both these men are expected to watch each other’s matches very closely. It will be interesting to see what type of reception they receive.
