Former NXT Champion Overtakes Roman Reigns, John Cena and others in Merchandise Sales

What began as a sharp, cult-like rise in Karrion Kross’ popularity among fans is now impacting business. A newly released metric chart from WrestleNomics shows The Doom Walker leading in highest-selling apparel for June 2025. He was ahead of top draws like John Cena and Roman Reigns in merchandise sales during that period.

According to WN data, Jey Uso’s ‘Four Letters, One Word’ T-shirt held the top position, followed by Kross’ ‘String Them Up’ tee at number two. Cena appeared three times on the list, while Reigns’ OTC tee ranked at number six. Stephanie Vaquer was the only female wrestler to crack the top 10 last month. Penta and Jacob Fatu are also among the top-selling names.

R-Truth’s Ron Cena T-shirt, which he wore at Saturday Night’s Main Event against his childhood hero, was also in great demand at number three. What’s fascinating about Kross’s presence on the list is the fact that he pulled it off without much on-screen exposure. Although he was constantly harping on Sami Zayn week in and week out, The Doomsday’s TV presence was limited to backstage segments.

Continuous backing from the WWE Universe finally landed him a spot at Night of Champions in Riyadh. Even though he lost to Zayn, the 39-year-old won over the Saudi Arabian crowd. He and his wife, Scarlett, were eternally grateful. ‘The Seductive Siren of Sin’ posted a heartfelt note about her husband on X after realizing that Kross is finally receiving the recognition he deserves.

Karrion Kross’ WWE Contract Is Up for Renewal Next Month

It was back in August 2022 when Karrion Kross made his stunning WWE return alongside Scarlett on SmackDown. He took out Drew McIntyre and was slated to enter a big-time feud with Roman Reigns. However, Kross would never end up crossing paths with The Tribal Chief again.

Almost three years later, Kross’ resurrection has been a sight to behold. However, there isn’t much time left on his current WWE contract. According to Fightful Select, Kross and Scarlett’s WWE deals are set to expire next month, unless an extension has already been agreed upon. There’s no word yet on whether they have re-signed with the company or not.

However, the report added that those the outlet spoke to claimed the couple is expected to stay in WWE, given their recent push on television. Moreover, the company has released new merchandise for The Doom Walker. This could be a sign of good things to come for the former NXT Champion.
