Things are not looking good for Sami Zayn, as he has made many enemies on Raw. Even after defeating Karrion Kross at Night of Champions, the latter revealed he wasn’t done with Zayn yet. Moreover, Seth Rollins’ dangerous group also had their eyes on him for poking his nose into their business. Now, after suffering a brutal beatdown from Bron Breakker once again, there has been a major update on the former I.C. Champion’s future.
On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Zayn was scheduled to fight Breakker. However, during his entrance, Kross attacked him from behind with a steel rod and injured him further, even before the match started. Rollins’ right-hand man dominated the match and defeated Zayn after hitting three spears. Paul Heyman, who referred to himself as Rollins’ oracle, revealed that The Underdog from the Underground would be out indefinitely.
The Visionary announced at the start of the show that they would bring wrath on everyone in their way. That’s exactly what they did on Raw, as The Auszilla absolutely destroyed Jey Uso during the match. Although Uso didn’t lose and earned a disqualification victory, it was Reed who had the last laugh, hitting The Yeet Man with two huge Tsunamis.
It was time for the main event match between Penta and Rollins. Both wrestlers tore the house down, countering each other’s moves, with The Revolutionary even kicking out of the Penta Driver. The match ended on a very controversial note, as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion knowingly hit a low blow on Penta and won the match with a Curb Stomp. In the end, Rollins’ Saturday Night Main Event opponent, LA Knight, saved the day by flooring him with a BFT.
