Paul Heyman, despite being portrayed as one of the most serious characters in WWE, has been known to be a fun person backstage. Truth mentioned that he had a bet with Paul Heyman that he could make Brock Lesnar laugh during a segment on Monday Night Raw.
Truth and Heyman made sure not to let Brock Lesnar know about the bet. He came out during Heyman’s promo with Lesnar, and it seemed like in the beginning he was threatening the Beast by declaring himself for the Royal Rumble match. Only after cutting his passionate promo did he say that it was directed towards Paul Heyman. This made everybody around the WWE Universe laugh. It even made the Beast Incarnate laugh.
His contribution to the company will not be remembered for his in-ring performance. It will be remembered for the type of character that he played throughout the years. Truth’s appearances are always rewatched on multiple social media platforms by fans. What he has done for the company will definitely not be forgotten for the correct reasons in the long run.
