During a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins talked about various topics from his life. He also opened up about one of the most talked-about moments of his personal life. The 38-year-old star even talked about the infamous photo of him and Becky Lynch in the shower, which made waves on social media.
The Architect revealed how he finally got the opportunity to share a room with Lynch and made the most of it. He laughed and said, “I was shooting my shot ahead of time and trying to get something romantic between us.” He mentioned that even Becky has shared the picture in her book.
Rollins, who is known for his candidness and sense of humor, saw this as an opportunity to clarify the back story behind the scandalous photo. Despite it seeming harmless at that time, it became an internet sensation with fans going wild at it. Many fans started to speculate whether the couple’s wildness would get them into trouble.
Rollins admitted that, like many things in the world of social media, the attention was unexpected. He also further added that he had been waiting for such a moment for a long period of time. The former WWE Champion concluded that it wasn’t something that had any real negative impact on their lives. The couple later welcomed their first child in 2020 and remain WWE’s most beloved power couple to this day.
Former WWE star slams Seth Rollins as “just terrible” on Raw
Stevie Richards, a former WWE superstar, openly labeled Rollins’ performance on Raw as “just terrible.” He expressed his disapproval during an episode of The Stevie Richards Show. The criticism mainly revolved around the backstage brawl between Rollins and Reed. This brawl all aired during the October 28th episode of RAW.
Richards, who wrestled for the company from 1999 to 2008, said, “They are not even touching him. You see that? It’s just terrible. It’s awful for somebody on this level, this place on the card, getting paid that much money.”
He further added on what he believes should have been done differently. Stevie suggested that the confrontation should have begun with Rollins avoiding a clothesline from Reed and then delivering realistic punches. The main criticism came since the fight was more focused on quantity over quality.
Rollins secured a victory over Reed at the Crown Jewel Premium live event on November 2, 2024, in Riyadh. His victory came after delivering multiple stomps, including one from the top rope, to defeat his opponent. The former Shield member is currently out of any title picture and is not expected to be in one anytime soon.
