Not bound by WWE rules and regulations anymore, the 35-year-old gave fitting replies to defend herself and her partner, who was also a former WWE employee, to a lot of the haters online.
She went on a crazy spree, replying to a lot of troll comments. The 35-year-old explained the actual reason behind leaving WWE, which was she didn’t see any growth potential from her ring announcer role. Irvin further explained that she doesn’t have any hate towards WWE, and it’s just a matter of her goals not aligning with WWE.
Few fans even dragged her fiance Ricochet into it and made mean comments about the former WWE star. She savagely defended him as well, revealing he is making more money in AEW than he was in WWE. Irvin gave a quirky response when she was trolled for leaving WWE while being the breadwinner just to be with her fiancee. She wrote, “Not my dream job, wasn’t the breadwinner but I do sing about the d**k though [emoji].”
It is clear that Samantha Irvin is definitely enjoying her freedom from WWE rules and regulations. She has savagely managed to clarify serious allegations against her. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the former ring announcer after WWE exit.
Is Samantha Irvin going to join WWE’s rival promotion, AEW?
After leaving WWE, a lot of people speculated that Samantha Irvin would be jumping the ship to AEW. Furthermore, she even made the shocking revelation that she recently attended an AEW show. Irvin even claimed that the crowd was having fun.
This added even more fuel to the rumors. However, she previously made it very clear that she doesn’t want to continue being a ring announcer and thus won’t be joining AEW. Irvin revealed she wanted to pursue a career in singing.
Ricochet also clarified the rumors on X by straight up denying that there are no plans for her to join AEW. He tweeted, “Haha, she’s not coming to AEW. You can all rest easy [laughing emoji].”
This pretty much makes it clear that Irvin won’t be joining WWE’s rival promotion anytime soon. However, she has expressed that she wanted to grow into the role of General Manager or manage a superstar. So if the stars align, the AEW possibility is not completely out of the window.
