During last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, CM Punk joined forces with the Original Bloodline. This happened after Paul Heyman shockingly introduced him as the 5th member. The Original side of the faction only had four members at that point in time. Things changed for the better for Roman Reigns’ men when CM Punk came out and joined their team.
During the latest episode of SmackDown, it seems like CM Punk’s arrival and joining of the Original Bloodline may have a reason. A video was aired during the episode of SmackDown where three men were in a room talking.
CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Paul Heyman were seated and discussing Punk’s shocking decision to join them. Punk revealed that the reason behind joining them was a favor. But he made it clear to Roman that he does not owe him any favor. Instead, it’s Paul Heyman who will do him a favor. Roman Reigns seemed very surprised by this and asked Paul what the favor was. Heyman told him to wait until WarGames is over.
CM Punk does not have much history with Roman Reigns, but he does with Paul Heyman. The Wiseman is known for running the business of his clients in a way that would benefit them immensely. However, when Roman heard of Punk asking for a favor in the future, he seemed taken aback. Many fans have also noticed how Punk addressed Paul as “OUR” Wiseman.
According to certain speculation from the WWE Universe, Punk might either get a title opportunity in the future from Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Another speculation is that Heyman might not serve Roman Reigns after Survivor Series and might be joining Punk on Raw.
Paul Heyman to continue on-screen for more time than expected
Paul Heyman has been in the wrestling industry for over 3 decades now. He is one of the most widely known managers across all wrestling eras. Considering his age, many people would expect him to see his retirement very soon. He has now eliminated all of the speculations regarding his retirement.
During an interview with CLUTCHPOINTS, Paul opened up that he does not have any plans of stopping anytime soon. He added that his experience will make him more beneficial for the company. Heyman has grown as an individual, and he now interacts with the audience better. He believes that despite being in the business for so long, he would still like to keep evolving.
I have no plans on stopping… I have all plans on growing and understanding this role and interaction with the audience better…I really do believe I’m just figuring it out now.
Paul Heyman is widely acknowledged and loved by the WWE universe. His skills on the microphone are second to none in the entire industry. The ability that he possesses to make any wrestler look like a superstar will be beneficial for future generations as well. His time with big stars like Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are some of the major highlights of his career. The knowledge that he possesses will only make the company grow more.
