WWE has made a very surprising roster shakeup just before their highly anticipated Crown Jewel Premium live event. With all eyes set on the event in Saudi Arabia, many people have seemed to ignore the actions that go around backstage. Three superstars were released by the company on November 1, 2024, while one of the superstars played a major role not very long ago.
Barcon Corbin, Indi Hartwell, and Tegan Nox have been shown the door out of the company. It has come as a surprise to multiple wrestling fans around the globe. All three of the superstars had enormous potential to contribute very well to the company.
Indi Hartwell
Indi Hartwell has been someone who got the chance to go to the WWE’s main roster from NXT, but she did not get her spotlight over there. She is mainly remembered for her time in NXT and mainly for her on-screen relationship with Dexter Lumis.
The romantic chemistry between both wrestlers was very popular among the fans. Apart from that, she never really got her big breakthrough in the company. Despite being talented, she failed to fit into the company’s future plans.
Tegan Nox
Coming in through the WWE NXT UK circuit, Tegan Nox was very quick to become a fan favorite. Her athleticism, along with her signature move, made her very popular among the fans. Her rivalry with Dakota Kai added a lot of depth to her character. She seemed like a very promising superstar until she became a victim of multiple injuries.
Nox suffered a major setback due to a torn ACL, which made her miss out on the inaugural Mae Young Classic. Once she returned, she faced a devastating knee injury. However, she bounced back stronger and ended up making her main roster debut. WWE made the surprising decision to release her, which has left a lot of fans with a lot of questions.
Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin, who is also known as King Corbin or even Happy Corbin at times, is also part of this list. He has served the company for a long period of time and was on the road to greatness.
He was even Mr. Money in the bank in his career and was scheduled to win the world title. However, backstage heat ended up breaking his world title dreams, and WWE ended up making him lose the briefcase to a failed cash-in on Jinder Mahal.
Ever since then, his career regarding championships went downhill; he played the role of “Constable Corbin” and got into a long-term feud with Kurt Angle as well. He even wrestled Angle at WrestleMania to retire the legend. Ever since then, he was not able to find anything that would bring him back on top. He moved to NXT for a while, but that worked for him for only a short time. Despite being a versatile performer who contributed many memorable moments to the company, he has been released.
