Kevin Owens has been very popular for being a not-so-great friend. He has a long history of betraying his friends. The most recent victim of his betrayal was Randy Orton. The Viper and Owens were very good friends and have even helped Cody Rhodes on multiple occasions. However, Owens ended up turning on Randy after he felt that he preferred Rhodes over him.
The rivalry between the two men has definitely gotten out of hand. Their match in Riyadh also got canceled because they started brawling even before the bell rang. Owens viciously attacked Randy Orton during his entrance. It now seems that things have taken a turn for the worse on the latest episode of SmackDown.
Kevin Owens delivered a Piledriver to Randy Orton during this week’s episode of SmackDown. This move has been banned by WWE as it is infamous for ending the careers of wrestlers. Orton had to be rushed to the hospital after that move was delivered to him. He was even heard saying that he couldn’t breathe after that move while he was being stretchered away.
This rivalry has only gotten more intense with its course running more and more. It seems like both men, who are former world champions, cannot stand each other anymore. Orton would like to get his revenge soon but he is expected to be written off for a long period of time due to this move.
