“Run it back one more time,” Jey Uso expresses desire to face Jimmy Uso again after WrestleMania XL match left a bad taste in his mouth

The Usos is one of the most iconic tag teams in WWE. However, when Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso split due to Bloodline drama, they faced each other at WrestleMania XL. What was anticipated as a dream match for ages, the match became a major disappointment for the fans. Not just the fans, the match also left the former Intercontinental Champion unsatisfied. Jey Uso recently reflected on the match and expressed a desire to face his brother again and give a better performance for the fans.

In a conversation with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Jey opened up about the match. He said that he was not happy with the way it turned out. Jey added that the match at WrestleMania left a bad taste in his mouth. The 39-year-old claimed that both men had the potential to make that match the best performance on the card. He has made it very clear that he wants to perform with his brother once again at The Grandest Stage of them All.

“Hell yeah, we would have stole the show. Just, things happen. We’re all a team…We’d be sold out. It’d be energy. You talk about setting the tone on Netflix. Put me in the spot. Let’s do it. I would like to run it back one more time.”

The match between both brothers at WrestleMania XL was very important to them. However, Jey feels that there could be a lot more that could be done. A potential rematch at WrestleMania 41 could provide both brothers the opportunity to tell that story again. It seems like they want to create a match that the fans will remember for years to come.

The Usos have had a legendary tag team career. Both brothers have grown as individual characters as well since their time apart. They are currently on the same team and are both Babyfaces. Fans are eager to see if WWE decides to give these two another chance. It seems like the rematch will definitely live up to the hype if it takes place.

Jey Uso reveals World Championship ambitions

While being apart from his brother Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso went on to have an amazing solo run. Jey captured the Intercontinental Championship and his singles run made him one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster. He was also given the nickname Main Event Jey Uso.

During the same interview, Jey Uso further revealed that his singles-run ambitions are far greater than what he has achieved so far. He revealed that he wants to capture the biggest prize that WWE has to offer.

“Yeah, man, it just puts a stamp on you,” Uso said. “If you’re a wrestler, you want to hold a damn WWE Championship one time, a World Heavyweight Championship one time. I want to hold that sh*t.

He added that his Intercontinental Championship reign made him want the World title even more. The 39-year-old further added that he will face anyone, be it Cody Rhodes or even Gunther, to win a World title.

The WWE Universe definitely enjoyed his singles title reign and would love to watch him capture the biggest prize in the company. A potential run with Money in the Bank contract could possibly be the best way for WWE to book him while protecting the top champions.
