CJ Perry, who was formerly known as Lana in WWE, has finally addressed the rumors regarding her having any romantic relationship with WWE Superstar Damian Priest. Perry clearly denied any romantic involvement between herself and the former World heavyweight champion.
The rumors had gained a lot of attention earlier this year, especially after Perry separated from her long-time husband Miro (who was known as Rusev in WWE.). The couple had married each other back in 2016 and collaborated in both WWE and AEW. They have even worked in storylines where they worked as a team or even against each other. However, they ended up separating in March 2023.
The talk of Perry and Priest started to really pick up after they were spotted together at several events, which included Raw after Wrestlemania party. Social media is full of fan theories, and this was one of the most famous theories. Damien Priest at that time was also a popular topic for his in-ring action.
However, recently Perry was quick to debunk these rumors. She recently held an Instagram Q&A session where she candidly stated, “No, I am not dating Damian Priest. That is very much… that was a funny internet rumor. She further added that she always posts pictures with her male friends, which leads to such speculations.
Perry’s answer has brought an end to this speculation surrounding her and Priest’s relationship status. While multiple fans were intrigued by the possibility of a real-life romance between the two WWE stars, it seems that the interactions that they have had are simply professional and friendly.

Since Perry is not a part of WWE, she has been focusing on her career outside of it. She has been active on social media, where she shares updates about her life and fitness journey. The 39-year-old has been highly involved in multiple projects, like acting and modeling mainly.
She may have very little experience when it comes to in-ring competition; however, she is as famous as somebody who is widely known in the squared circle. She is no stranger to wrestling fans all around the globe.
