The latest episode of Monday Night Raw saw things getting very heated up for the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus had made it very clear to Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker some weeks ago that he was coming after his championship. Things seemed to be going normally between both men until Ludwig Kaiser also joined the fight some weeks ago.
This Monday, when Ludwig and Bron were head-to-head in a non-title match, Sheamus decided to show up and attack Kaiser from behind. This seemed like revenge by Sheamus, as his opportunity was robbed last week when he seemed in a position to win the title. Kaiser attacked him from behind during his match, which caused a disqualification.
After Sheamus’ attack, all three men ended up in a brawl at ringside this week as things got very heated between them. WWE officials had to step in and stop the brawl. However, it seemed like nothing was going to stop them from tearing each other apart. This led to a frustrated Adam Pearce announcing a triple threat match between all three men at Survivor Series for the championship.
Bron Breakker has been an unstoppable force ever since he won the championship from Jey Uso. Ludwig Kaiser has also been a fierce competitor and seems to go to any length to win the title. Sheamus has been around WWE for more than 10 years now. He has won every championship apart from the Intercontinental Championship. It seems like he wants to complete a career Grand Slam by winning the one title that has eluded him.
Sheamus reacts to announcement on social media
The Celtic Warrior is a WWE veteran with over 10 years in the company. He has won every championship the company has to offer apart from one. The Intercontinental Championship has eluded him all his career. There have been multiple opportunities when he has come close to winning it but has failed to capture the championship.
After an intense few weeks with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker and Ludwig Kaiser, it seems Sheamus has his chance. A triple-threat match was announced between the three men at Survivor Series. The former WWE Champion took to his X account, where he mentioned that the story ends Sunday.
Sheamus has had multiple highs and lows throughout his career. He has been a very popular superstar in the wrestling industry. Currently 46 years old, the Irishman does not seem to have many years under his belt remaining. It seems like he would like to complete his story by winning the Intercontinental Championship. If he does so, he will become only the 23rd wrestler in history to do so. Sheamus has been targeting this championship for over 2 years. He looks to put an end to his chase this Sunday as he plans on defeating both men.
