World No. 3 Novak Djokovic hilariously reveals his new coach Andy Murray‘s New Year’s Eve plan, and it doesn’t include coaching.
After beating Hijikata in the first match of the season in Brisbane, the 24-time Grand Slam champion talked about his 2025 plans and candidly revealed Andy Murray’s New Year celebration plans, and it doesn’t involve training.
As per the 36-year-old, Murray will be skiing during the New Year with his family. That’s not all; Djokovic further joked about how he wishes all the love for Murray and hopes he doesn’t get injured before coming to Melbourne.
Well, seeing Novak Djokovic’s form in the ongoing Australian Open, it seems like the skiing trip was indeed a great hit.
Novak Djokovic said, “He’s actually skiing at the moment. He’s on a family skiing trip. Sending my love to all the Murray family. I hope he doesn’t get injured skiing before he comes to Melbourne.
Novak concluded, “We spoke before the match. I’m excited to have him in my team. For 20+ years he’s been across the net. For the first time ever he’s on the same side of the court. Should be fun in Melbourne.”

He said, “I thought our story may be over. It turns out it has one final chapter. It’s time for one of my toughest opponents to step into my corner. Welcome aboard, coach Andy Murray.”
