Fortnite King and streaming sensation Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has revealed one financial regret during his peak period, and it’s not Fortnite or, well, maybe not what you’d expect. Ninja is known for his Fortnite streams and continues to rule the streaming world even after all these years.
When new streamers like IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, and Pokimane are taking over the streaming industry, Ninja remains one of the top streamers on Twitch, boasting a massive fan following on social media platforms. With over 12.2 M followers on his Instagram handle alone, he still has a massive following, making him the most loved streamer of all time.
However, being loved by many doesn’t really save one from making a terrible financial decision. And that’s precisely what Ninja revealed on December 14, 2024, alongside FaZe Apex.
During an unfiltered conversation with Apex, Ninja opened up about his streaming career and revealed his biggest financial retreat, that is, flying private.
When asked about whether there is something on the financial side that he would like to do differently, Ninja replied, “We don’t blow money. I’d say if I had a regret, it was flying private as much as we were. That’s all. Just because it’s so expensive. We’re phenomenal, completely well-off. It’s not like we started freaking out and had panic attacks or things like that.”

That’s not all; Ninja further talked about how he and his wife don’t blow money on unnecessary things and flying private, although being a regret now, seemed pretty reasonable as it saved his time. However, they have stopped flying private now, thus cutting down the expense.
Continuing his train of thought, Ninja further added, “We were just like, ‘There is just no reason to be spending this money. There are definitely levels to it because the most important thing you’re saving is time. … Happy we’re not doing that anymore.”
Streaming: The most in-demand career choice
The honest admission comes just a week after Ninja revealed making a whopping $6-7M per month during his heyday when Fortnite streaming was all the rage. Interestingly enough, he is not the only one dropping his financial details.
Popular streamer Myth also admitted being offered $4 million by YouTube to stream on their platform for two years.
Streaming has reached a whole new level. From streaming personalities like xQc, Kai Cenate, and IShowSpeed being offered a jaw-dropping $100 million deal by Kick to exclusively stream on the platforms to Ninja revealing his massive income back in the prime days, streaming has become one of the most in-demand professions.
