From James Charles, Bella Poarch to Valkyrae: Halloween costumes take over the internet

The spooky season is here, and so are the different Halloween costumes. From James Charles to Pokimane to Valkyrae, everyone has been making the most out of it with some fashionable choices.

While famous makeup artist James Charles chose to go with Avatar for this Halloween, Valkyrae took the internet by storm with her cosplay. That’s not all; TikTok sensation Bella Poarch donnes a scary yet beautiful look named “the other women.”.

With that being said, let’s take a close look at what other influencers, streamers, YouTubers, and celebrities have worn this Halloween season.

Halloween costumes of 2024

James Charles

Famous for his creativity when it comes to makeup, James Charles experiments with his looks quite often. And this year was no different. Often taking his social media handles to showcase his makeup skills and tutorials for painted makeup looks, Charles dressed up as an Avatar.

With blue paint all over his face and body, he posted a proper get-ready with me on his Instagram handle. At the time of writing, the reel has crossed over 3.9 million views, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.

James even did the famous Bettle Juice makeup look for Halloween, and that too went viral, gaining millions of views in no time. His other looks also involve Daphine Blake from Scooby Doo.

Valkyrae

Streaming sensation Valkyrae dressed up as DC comics’ Starfire. She wore a red wig and purple-blue one piece and knee-high stockings to further accentuate the look.

Pokimane

Another streaming star took the internet by storm with her simple yet stunning Halloween costume. Pokimane chose to go with the iconic “childhood crush” for this year’s Halloween. In a carousal post on her official Instagram, she sported a Lola Bunny costume.

Bella Poarch

Influencer Bella Poarch stunned everyone with a spooky bride look that she called “the other woman.” She further accented the look with blue long hair and a white corset along with a veil. As expected, the post instantly went viral, gaining over 300k likes in no time.

She captioned the post, “You should’ve thought about that before you asked me to marry you” -Emily.”\

Addison Rae

Internet sensation Addison Rae celebrated her Halloween as the iconic Lady Gaga. To get that spookiness in the costume, she wore Gaga’s 2009 VMA’s look, with some blood-spattered white two-piece and a short, curly blonde (with a hint of pink) wig.

Halloween costumes are now a part of the tradition, and dressing for the same has been an integral part of it. From spooky yet creative makeup looks to impersonating popular entities, the options are endless, and the experiments can be done in multiple different ways.

While the majority of influencers don different looks during the spooky season, social media has witnessed some really astonishing creativity in the past couple of days.
