After some time, Austin messaged Punk, talking about the response that the crowd gave upon his return. He even regarded the crowd’s response as maybe the loudest he ever heard.
The text messages that have been exchanged between the two wrestling legends show the respect that they have. It also gives fans the understanding that CM Punk’s return was not a total surprise, and some people around the industry were aware of him coming back.

New Bloodline member sends message after CM Punk’s surprise entry.
Tama Tonga, who is a member of the New Bloodline, has gotten injured after the brawl that broke out between the New and Original Bloodlines on SmackDown. When Paul Heyman announced CM Punk as the final member of Roman Reigns’ team, both factions went after each other.
During this, Tonga got injured and was required to get seven stitches following the SmackDown episode. Toma Tonga, following his stitches, also put out a one-word message for the Original Bloodline and especially for CM Punk.
