During a recent episode of SmackDown, in an unexpected crossover, Reigns met with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira.
Pereira, who is a dominant force in the cage, was seen on SmackDown, where he even interacted with the fans. The UFC champ was seated in the front row during the broadcast of the show. The Brazilian later met The Tribal Chief backstage, where both men interacted and were seen having a small chat.

Both men were seen exchanging their merchandise as well. Reigns and Alex exchanged their t-shirts backstage. These two have helped build their respective companies’ brand names and have been on top of their divisions.
Many fans believe that the shirt exchange between both men is similar to the NBA or even football. Two athletes exchange their jerseys as a sign of respect between both of them. The TKO brand, which owns WWE and UFC, is speculated to set up this meet to create more ratings for the episode of SmackDown.
Roman Reigns came face to face with Sami Zayn after Crown Jewel
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn all came face-to-face in the ring. Zayn started the opening segment by saying that he didn’t kick Reigns on purpose at WWE Crown Jewel, but he also wasn’t there to help him. He further added that he was there to help Jey.
Eventually, Sami started talking about old times and got emotional about their days together as a group. The former Intercontinental Champion further added that he thinks that Roman still loves him. All this seemed like an attempt for him to get a smile out of Roman. Sami further demanded that Roman apologize, not to him but to Jey Uso.
Roman teased an apology but rather apologized to Jey for letting him waste his time behind Sami. He further said that Sami wasn’t a member of their family, wasn’t honorary, and was not an Uso, which led to Zayn leaving the ring.
This segment left multiple fans heartbroken, as they wanted to see the reunion of the original group. The storyline at the moment is very interesting and will definitely be something to see unfold in the future. Roman at the moment also has his sights set on Solo Sikoa to get his revenge.
