Popular streaming sensation Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has confirmed that she will be returning to Twitch, nearly two years after making headlines by signing with rival platform Kick in 2023. The deal that created waves was worth a whopping $100 million.
Known for her massive online following, Amouranth’s return has created a buzz across the streaming community. The return announcement went viral, eliciting a wave of excitement among fans.
The announcement came via a now-deleted video posted to X (formerly Twitter), in which she teased her comeback. In the video, she is seen refueling her car at a 7-Eleven, taking a call, and saying, “I’m on my way after I refuel a bit. Be there soon.”
She then hops into a green sports car with a “Kick Com” license plate, before a SpongeBob-style screen flashes, reading: “$38 million later”. In the final scene, the green car turns Twitch purple, signaling her official return to the Amazon-owned platform.
While the exact terms of her original deal with Kick were never made public, Amouranth told Dexerto in a 2023 interview that the move had “doubled” her income.
Kick had been aggressively recruiting top streamers at the time, with Amouranth joining the platform shortly after xQc signed his historic $100 million deal. Her switch was seen as one of Kick’s biggest wins in building its brand against arch-rival Twitch.
For the uninitiated, throughout her career, Amouranth has amassed millions of followers across various platforms, thanks to her ASMR, cosplay, and gaming streams. With multiple controversies to spice things up, Amouranth remains one of the most popular female streamers.
With that being said, fans have already started speculating on what her return might look like and whether her signature content will evolve. While the original announcement tweet has since been deleted, it was live long enough to stir excitement and speculation among fans.
