Those following YouTube sensation Jimmy “MrBeast” for a while now know just how much of a fan he is of Elon Musk. While the two have had back and forth on X, MrBeast’s top pinned tweet on X for the last two years has been his hilarious interaction with the Tesla owner.
As expected, the interaction was an instant hit, eliciting a plethora of reactions online. That’s not all; the tweet has over likes, reshares, and comments at the time of writing. However, it was not the first time the two popular personalities had a hilarious interaction.
In a recent episode of Theo Von’s podcast, the YouTube star revealed his first interaction with Elon Musk after his acquisition of Twitter (now X). He recalled meeting the business mogul during the Super Bowl and talking about Twitter, well X (if the conversation is to be considered).
MrBeast recalled, “We bumped into each other once at the Super Bowl. He asked me, ‘Do I think people call X Twitter still, do they call it X?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, most people call it Twitter; I’ve noticed.’ He’s like, ‘Interesting.”

As expected, the comment was clipped and shared on multiple social media handles, garnering quite a few interesting yet hilarious comments from fans. While the majority of fans poked fun at Elon Musk’s “interesting,” a few even made memes about Musk’s curiosity regarding the Xregarding and whether people have accepted X as “X” and not “Twitter.”.
MrBeast shuts down comparison with Elon Musk
Despite being experts in their own field, MrBeast shuts down any comparison. After Theo Von compared the two during their conversation, the YouTuber said he doesn’t believe the two are on the same level.
Beast said, “I mean, he’s pioneering in taking us to Mars, electric cars, talking with your phone through your brain, digging tunnels, fixing traffic—you know, getting rid of a trillion dollars of government waste now, and this and that … I’m pioneering funny videos.”
With that being said, MrBeast is known for his out-of-the-box videos with whopping budgets. The different kinds of videos have earned him a massive viewership, crowning him the most-subscribed creator on YouTube.
