In a rather unfortunate turn of events, it seems like the Max teaser of Logan Paul and Jake Paul facing each other in a poster might not be an actual fight between the brothers. For the uninitiated, both the Paul brothers took to their official social media handles to drop a teaser of what could be the long-awaited boxing match between the two.
The poster has both brothers staring right into each other’s eyes on a red backdrop with the date March 27 flashing right between them. In their captions, both brothers wrote: “The moment you’ve waited a decade for. March 27 on Max.”
Additionally, Max’s official X account also retweeted the viral, ramping up all kinds of speculations from fans around the world. As expected, the post went viral within a few minutes, eliciting a plethora of reactions online. Fans went gaga over the fact that the two brothers were going against each other inside the ring for an influencer boxing.
However, that might not be the case. A source close to ESPN recently revealed that the teaser is not for a fight between the two popular personalities but instead for a different type of reality show.
The publication said, “Jake Paul and Logan Paul made social media announcements Tuesday that created widespread speculation the brothers would fight each other. But the teased March 27 event on streaming service Max will be a reality series rather than a boxing match, sources told ESPN’s Mike Coppinger.”
At the time of writing, there are no further details about the reality show other than the date that was mentioned on the poster itself.
With that being said, it seems like fans have to want the official confirmation from the Paul brothers. on whether the teaser was for the much-awaited fight or yet another reality show.
