After the successful bout with legend Mike Tyson, Jake Paul seems to be hinting towards his retirement amidst the ongoing speculation over his boxing match with brother Logan Paul.
While the news of his bout against his own brother is not officially confirmed yet, Jake Paul opened up about his retirement plans during a January 28 episode of Ring Champs, where he outlined his final goal before bidding goodbye to the boxing front for good.
When asked about his future plans and if he is looking to retire after becoming the world champion, Paul simply rejected the idea, stating how he might be hanging up his gloves after the Olympics. Interestingly enough, Jake Paul expressed his desire to win gold for his country in the Olympics in Los Angeles.
As per the popular personality, his fans haven’t seen his best version yet and what he is capable of doing inside the ring, and that’s precisely what he is planning to showcase during the Olympics.
He said, “I don’t think it’ll be after winning a world title. I’m going to try and figure out how to fight in the 2028 Olympics and win gold, and then I think I’ll retire. People haven’t seen the best version of me in the ring or what I’m capable of. I think I’ve not shown that, and this next year is going to be a great way to do that.”
