WATCH: Former WWE Tag Team Champions go off on each other after embarrassing defeat on Raw

The New Day has been one of the most popular tag teams across WWE for the past 10 years. The trio has captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions. Two out of three members of the group have even gone on to become World Champions. Big E and Kofi Kingston experienced championship gold in singles. Meanwhile, Xavier Woods is yet to capture a singles title.

Things have not been so great for The New Day in recent years. First, Big E was forced into retirement after getting injured. Woods and Kingston, however, have still stuck by each other since then. Now it seems that there is tension heating up between them as well. Last night on Raw there was a very heated argument between the two after losing very quickly to The Alpha Academy.

After the match, Woods and Kingston were seen in the backstage segment arguing with each other and blaming each other for the loss. Woods mentioned Kofi as a World Champion who was defeated in six seconds by Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, Kofi countered by saying that Woods is yet to win a singles title in WWE. There were also multiple references from the past where the faction members have been the victims of failure.

The members of the WWE Universe have enjoyed this segment. The New Day faction has been together for a long period of time, according to them. It seems like they would now prefer to see the remaining two members of The New Day as individual competitors. The fans have also praised the two wrestlers for the way they have delivered this segment.

WWE set to celebrate 10 years of The New Day

Despite the current storyline, WWE is still set to honor the 10th anniversary of The New Day. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E have been very popular around the globe among wrestling fans. They were the favorite tag team of multiple wrestling fans around the globe.

On the December 2nd episode of Raw, WWE has invited fans to join in on the celebration of the legacy the tag team has built. The celebration will be taking place on an episode of Monday Night Raw. The faction has made history on multiple occasions, and at one point in time, they were even the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions.

The WWE social media platforms have also currently been building up to this occasion. There are multiple videos of their previous matches that have been reposted on their social media platforms.

Members of the WWE Universe will be hoping that the celebration does not end in any kind of disaster. The appearance of Big E will also be something the fans will be looking forward to ever since he decided to step away from the ring due to injury.
