“You dad’s a LOSER,” John Cena goes filthy on young kid in his bold promo on SmackDown

John Cena appeared on SmackDown Live to discuss his attack on Randy Orton. Orton quickly came out to confront him. Given their past rivalry, Orton took personal jabs at Cena. He even suggested Cena have kids to fill a void in his life. Cena, however, disagreed.

Cena, appearing confident, told the crowd he had worked tirelessly for 25 years to entertain the world. As he spoke, a young fan flipped him off. The gesture caught Cena’s attention immediately. Cena locked eyes with the kid and responded sharply. He called the child’s father a loser. He also mocked the kid for giving him the finger, calling it unclassy.

Turning back to Orton, Cena explained why he didn’t want kids. He said he’d been dealing with misbehaving fans for 25 years. He then doubled down on insulting the kid and his father.

“I have been a better parent to your children than you could ever be! That’s right kid, your dad’s a loser. Oh great, a 6-year-old just gave me the finger!”

Cena told the kid he was outmatched, adding that his “loser dad” probably never taught him that. Despite granting many Make-a-Wish wishes, Cena distanced himself from kids otherwise. He once said he’d “fathered” every child who grew up watching him.

John Cena will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton at Backlash 2025

WWE Undisputed Champion John Cena will battle Randy Orton at Backlash 2025. The event is set for Saturday, May 10. After WrestleMania, Cena was celebrating his 17th title win when Randy shocked him with an RKO. This hinted at WWE’s creative direction, and SmackDown later confirmed the match. The showdown will take place in St. Louis, Randy’s hometown.

During a promo on Friday Night SmackDown, Cena repeated his goal to “ruin wrestling” and retire as champion. He mocked Randy, saying WWE could create a new title once he leaves. Cena added that Randy’s legacy would reset, and the belt would always be linked to him. He also claimed it would erase the Orton family’s three-generation legacy, angering Randy.

Randy challenged Cena to fight right then on SmackDown. However, Cena insisted on waiting until Backlash to face Randy in his hometown. The 17-time champ told Randy to prepare well for their clash. After taunting him, Cena threw the title at Randy and launched a sneak attack.

Cena struck Randy with the belt, but Randy dodged and delivered another RKO—his second that week. Randy then held up the WWE Championship as the segment ended. Shortly after, WWE announced the match as Backlash 2025’s main event.
