“Disgusting actually”- WWE fans irritated as Solo Sikoa becomes first superstar to qualify for 2025 Money in the Bank ladder match

The qualifying matches for the MITB ladder match have started, and one of the first matches took place on SmackDown. Solo Sikoa, who has been embroiled in a power struggle with Jacob Fatu, won the first match. He has now qualified for the 2025 MITB ladder match.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Sikoa wrestled in a Triple Threat match against Rey Fenix and Jimmy Uso. The match was all-out chaos, as three wrestlers with different styles aimed to gain the same opportunity. In the final moments, the former NXT North American champion took out Uso with a Samoan Spike but was caught with the Adiós Amigo move by Fenix.

However, a distraction by Jeff Cobb gave Sikoa time to recover, and he delivered a spike to Fenix to pick up the win and qualify for the MITB ladder bout. The Bloodline 2.0 leader will be entering his very first ladder match on the main roster. However, the danger of losing one of his closest allies is also looming over him. Earlier on the show, Sikoa forced Fatu to say that he loved him.

However, before the U.S. Champion could say anything, LA Knight ruined their meeting by sneak-attacking Cobb. There have been some misunderstandings between Fatu and Sikoa, as the former stopped taking orders from his leader and even won a championship before him. It could all go down in the MITB ladder match, where many fans believe The Samoan Werewolf will betray him and turn face.

Fans react to Solo Sikoa’s victory over Rey Fenix and Jimmy Uso in a Triple Threat match on SmackDown

It looks like many fans were left disappointed because of Sikoa’s victory. Unfortunately for him, things have been rough over the past few months compared to his cousins. While some fans stated that he would ruin all the excitement of the MITB ladder match, others felt that Fenix or Jimmy would have been better choices.

One fan was really upset with his win and called it ‘disgusting.’ Another fan said that although it was certainly a happy moment, it would’ve been better if he hadn’t been in the MITB ladder match. Some fans even admitted that Fenix’s selling of the Samoan Spike from Sikoa looked incredible. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:

Another user said that it was Jimmy’s opportunity to find success on his own, like his brother Jey Uso. One user talked about how the newcomer, Fenix, was being treated and even called him a jobber. Some fans understood that the decision was made to further the crack in Sikoa and Fatu’s relationship. Others believed the reason behind Fenix’s loss was his participation in the Worlds Collide event between AAA and NXT.
