Alexa Bliss Remembers Bray Wyatt in Touching Tribute After Securing MITB Spot on SmackDown

Alexa Bliss has been on a roll since her emphatic return at the Royal Rumble PLE. She has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with Chelsea Green. After defeating her again in a Triple Threat match and qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match, she paid tribute to the late Bray Wyatt.

Ahead of the latest episode of SmackDown, it was announced that the qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank ladder match would begin. The first was a Triple Threat match between Bliss, Green, and Michin. During the opening minutes, Michin and Bliss attempted to team up against The Hot Mess, but the latter fought back fiercely.

The former Women’s U.S. Champion tried to take advantage when Bliss hit Michin with a Twisted Bliss. Despite Green throwing her out, Little Miss Bliss came back and picked up the win with a Sister Abigail DDT. After the match, she took to X and posted a picture of herself looking up, with a “Fireflies Forever” poster behind her in the audience.

Wyatt and Bliss share a great history. Fans admired their efforts and hard work in the storylines involving The Fiend. The former WWE Champion sadly passed away two years ago due to a heart attack. It’s safe to say that the leader of the Wyatt Family holds a special place in her heart. It will be interesting to see whether she manages to win another world title in his honor.

Thunder Rosa explained why Alexa Bliss’ return pi**ed her off

Bliss made her long-awaited return on last week’s episode of SmackDown. She last appeared at the Elimination Chamber PLE, where she unfortunately lost in a hard-hitting match. She returned as a mystery partner for Zelina Vega and took on Green and Piper Niven. The new Women’s United States Champion and Bliss defeated The Hot Mess and her secret service in a tag team match.

However, while speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Thunder Rosa was not happy at all with the decision. She was angry at WWE for putting Bliss in a tag match, which she felt was completely unnecessary. Rosa further stated that WWE should give women the respect they deserve.

You really have to put them in a tag match with the champion, with a new champion? That really p***** me off. Cause they do that to women all the time. That’s not cool. Cool, yeah, it is TV time, I get it, but come on guys, stop doing this to the women’s division. Give the women the respect they deserve.”

Fans expected that Bliss’ return would bring some teases of a connection to the Wyatt Sicks. However, they were left disappointed, as they couldn’t figure out what her character was meant to be. The ominous group hasn’t made any appearances since they last lost to The Final Testament in December of last year.
