Triple h announces huge match for CM Punk at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and CM Punk is far from over, especially after The Best in the World’s best friend, Paul Heyman, betrayed him and aligned with Rollins at WrestleMania 41. Another match involving them has been made official, and WWE CCO Triple H broke his silence on social media.

Hunter took to X and said that the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event was shaping up to be a big one. On the latest episode of Raw, Punk came out and blamed himself for trusting Heyman once again. As he asked for an explanation, the Wiseman, along with Rollins and Bron Breakker, came out.

Rollins accused Punk of gaslighting the WWE Universe into believing that it was, in fact, Heyman who betrayed him. Not only that, The Visionary also said that he was sick of Punk playing the victim all the time. It all turned into chaos when both of them launched a 2-on-1 attack on him.

Sami Zayn and Jey Uso quickly leveled the playing field and forced the heel alliance to backpedal. In the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show, The Best in the World will team up with Zayn to take on Rollins and Breakker. It will be interesting to see whether Heyman has a part to play in it.

CM Punk paid heartfelt tribute to ECW legend Sabu

The wrestling world lost a legend in Sabu a few days ago. He passed away at the age of 60 and had wrestled his last match just a few days prior. Many superstars saw him as an idol and took inspiration from his style of wrestling. Punk also paid a small tribute to him during his entrance.

Punk started the latest episode of Raw and delivered a fantastic promo targeting Rollins. When he was on the ring apron during his entrance, he mimicked Sabu’s signature pose by pointing a finger towards the air. He even left a message on Instagram saying there would never be someone like him.

The Second City Saint further added that Sabu influenced many stars throughout his career. Sabu was the definition of extreme and put his body on the line every week for the fans’ entertainment. Raw began with commentators Pat McAfee and Michael Cole remembering him by listing his accomplishments over the years.
