Former WWE Champion Reveals He Has ‘Zero’ Interest in Pursuing a Hollywood Career

Professional wrestling has produced several stellar actors for Hollywood. Dave Bautista, Dwayne Johnson, and John Cena lead the pack. Current roster members are eyeing similar transitions. However, opinions vary on their potential success. Finn Balor stands out as a unique case among these aspiring performers.

Recently, a fan on X tagged The Prince with a question about whether he’d considered becoming a Hollywood actor. Balor’s response was blunt: zero interest. The Irishman turns 44 this July and seems content with his current path. He’s never starred in a full-length movie. More telling, he shows no desire to change that.

Last December, the Judgment Day member completed a decade with WWE. WrestleVotes reported that Balor had become a respected locker room leader. The report suggested he was set for a major singles push in 2025. However, six months later, the Prince’s booking remains unchanged.

He’s still chasing tag team titles alongside JD McDonagh. The veteran was supposedly destined for singles glory instead. At WrestleMania 41, fans expected Balor to capture the Intercontinental Championship. The Fatal 4-Way match seemed like his moment to shine. Instead, his stablemate Dominik Mysterio pinned him. Mysterio dethroned Bron Breakker for the gold while Balor watched.

Finn Balor Posts a Wholesome Message for His Father

Finn Balor has always shown deep love for his father, Fintan Devitt. Yesterday, on Father’s Day, the inaugural Universal Champion shared a heartfelt tribute. Balor wrote a touching note in honor of Mr. Devitt’s unwavering support. He explained that his dad fills every role in his career. No manager, agent, advisor, driver, or personal assistant needed. His father handles it all with love and dedication.

The former Bullet Club leader credited his father for every success. Each decision made and championship won owed a debt to Devitt. Mr. Devitt surely wants one thing before his son retires. A return to WWE’s main event scene would complete the journey.

Balor came closest to world championship gold at SummerSlam 2023. The Prince had Seth Rollins stunned and seemingly beaten. Victory appeared within reach as The Visionary stumbled on unsteady legs. However, Damian Priest‘s ringside interference ruined everything for Balor.
