Moreover, the 40-year-old will be integrated into a storyline that would see him align with a top babyface as early as this Friday’s SmackDown in Nashville. The report clarified that the babyface could be anyone, but it was not Cody Rhodes.
In fact, The American Nightmare has his hands full as he’s slated to challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Title at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. With Rhodes not in the mix for partnering up with the multi-platinum recording artist, the fans are confused about who it could be. Also, the WWE Universe has seen what Roll can do inside the squared circle. Last year, he launched an assault on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
The singer-rapper would then go on to chokeslam Theory. He followed it up with a Five Knuckle Shuffle on the A-Town Down Under member alongside The Miz and R-Truth.
