The internet is a place where millions of people express their thoughts about themselves or others. However, sometimes it turns ugly, with fans targeting the close ones of famous personalities. The same happened with Sanjana Ganeshan, Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, who shared an emotional post on social media.
She took to Instagram and shared a story about her son, Angad. Both of them had visited the stadium to watch the Mumbai Indians’ match and support Bumrah. They were spotted on camera during MI’s game against the Lucknow Super Giants. Unfortunately, their son Angad faced a lot of trolling because of his facial expressions. Sanjana hit back at the trolls, saying that her son was not a topic for their entertainment.
“Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment. Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the Internet is a despicable, vile place to be and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else.”

A picture of Angad surfaced on the internet, showing him with a gloomy face even after his father Jasprit’s four-wicket haul against LSG. A day after the match, Ganeshan shared a post on social media, saying they were doing their best to keep Angad away from the internet. She also called the internet a “vile” place. Ganeshan further added that she and Jasprit had no interest in making their son viral internet content.
The eminent broadcaster expressed her sadness over people making careless comments without even knowing their son. She advised them to keep their opinions to themselves and show some honesty and kindness. Speaking of Bumrah’s performance in the IPL, he has picked up 9 wickets in just 6 matches with an economy rate of 7.50. He has been a key player in MI’s unbeaten run of 5 matches.
LSG’s captain Rishabh Pant revealed where game slipped from their hands against Mumbai Indians
Things are not looking good for Rishabh Pant and the Lucknow Super Giants. They lost an important match against the Mumbai Indians, and one of the main reasons for their defeat was Pant’s poor batting form. He was dismissed for just 4 runs, while attempting a reverse sweep. After the match, Pant explained where he felt the team lost the game.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Pant admitted that it just wasn’t their day. He credited the MI players for outplaying them. Pant said that although losing their second match in a row was a setback, they weren’t overthinking it. The 27-year-old also mentioned that he was trying not to question himself too much in this situation.
Pant also spoke about Mayank Yadav’s return from injury, saying he was a much-needed addition to the team. However, he pointed out that Yadav was still regaining his rhythm after the injury. The 27-year-old assured that he would perform better in the upcoming matches.
